Known as “The Lab”, this space is our smallest studio and acoustically treated mix room. It features copper, cat 6 and multimode fibre links to the Main Space and other studios in the building.

FoH Mix Rooms are often overlooked as cold, dark and dingy corners to hide the Front of House Engineer. We decided to redress this, and have created a thoroughly unique space for them to prepare for their shows.

Bring your own console or choose from our industry standard selections of mix systems from DiGiCo Quantums through Yamaha Rivage and DM7, to Avid S6L or Allen & Heath dLive.

The room comes as standard with a pair of ATC SCM25a monitors, or if you’d prefer we can kit it out with some L’Acoustics or D&B. Otherwise please feel free to bring whatever else you’d like to use.

There are three screens on the walls which you can use for whatever you like – be that connecting your PC or Mac for a larger screen, running Waves or Fourier Audio, extension screens for your console, or with the in house NDI and IP CCTV system so you can always keep an eye on what the band are doing in another room.

Like all of our other creative spaces, The Lab is air conditioned, centrally heated, and has custom controllable lighting to help create the perfect environment for your needs. This space also features natural light from a sun dome in the ceiling.

As with our other studios too, the Lab works as a multifunction space and can be used as a rehearsal space, control room, changing room, dressing room for the main artist, production office, or anything else you may need.
